Aquaculture

Our main focus is on the culture of high-value marine species like grouper, tuna and Seriola but we also work with freshwater species like tilapia, Pangasius and carp plus we have strong experience in developing new species for aquaculture. The services and expertise we provide include:

Selection and Training of Staff

For all departments (human resource, accounting, hatchery, nursery, grow-out, and marketing & sales).

Best Management Practices

Development and implementation of strict protocols for Hatchery, Nursery and Grow-out with special emphasis on quality control, hygiene, food safety and minimizing environmental impact of the farming activities.

Hatchery Management

Brood stock collection and selection, egg incubation, hatchery, nursery and grow-out, phytoplankton culture (outdoor, indoor and organic culture of a variety of species), zooplankton culture (including rotifer and copepods), culturing of other live feed organism and disease management.

Grow-out

Including site selection, cage construction installation and maintenance, disease control, growth monitoring, harvesting, transport and export (live and fresh).

Water Treatment Systems

Develop and construct filtration systems including pressurized sand filtration, UV-sterilization and the use of ozone.

Large hatchery planned for native Red Sea species for NEOM mega project in Saudi Arabia

Since 2019 we provide the NEOM mega project in Saudi Arabia with strategic advice on aquaculture and fisheries. The latest project is a planned hatchery and growout farm for Red Sea native species.

We provide technical advice to an OKP Project led by Fresh Studio to support a resilient and sustainable value chain for Pangasius in the Vietnam’s Mekong Delta. The project is funded by the Dutch government.
